Tottenham Hotspur have extended Destiny Udogie’s contract until the summer of 2030.
The 21-year-old left-back has made an impression in his first season with the club, starting 14 Premier League games and becoming an important member of Ange Postecoglou’s new-look side.
Udogie scored his first goal for Spurs in their 4-1 win over Newcastle United last Sunday, and he has also provided two assists this season.
Udogie joined Spurs from Udinese in the summer of 2022, but he returned to Italy on a season-long loan.
🎙️ “I’m really happy because I think to be here at this club is a big joy for me, so I’m really happy for this opportunity and it’s a pleasure.”

Following a string of impressive performances this season, Udogie was called up to the Italy senior squad for the first time in October and made his debut in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta.
Udogie and Tottenham ended a five-match winless streak against Newcastle last time out and will look to win back-to-back matches for the first time since the end of October when they visit Nottingham Forest on Friday, with the chance to draw level with fourth-placed Manchester City.
