According to the NBA’s injury report, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown is questionable due to a left ankle sprain ahead of their rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.
Brown rolled his ankle during the Cavaliers’ 120-113 comeback victory on Tuesday. He briefly left the game to go to the locker room. However, he returned to the game and finished with 25 points, two rebounds, and four assists on 10-of-17 shooting.Jayson Tatum also scored 25 points.
Despite the questionable tag, Brown is reportedly participating in a shootaround on Thursday morning, according to Celtics CLNS.
In 21 games for Boston this season, the 6-foot-7 guard has averaged 22.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. He has only missed one game this season, on November 15th, when the Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers.

Boston will try to maintain its undefeated 11-0 home record. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers look to rebound after blowing a 27-12 lead a couple of nights ago.
Thanks to a 38-29 second quarter, the Celtics overcame a slow start and ended the first half trailing by just one point. The second half was mostly a seesaw battle until the Celtics pulled away in the final minutes.
If Brown is unable to play, Sam Hauser will likely take his place in the starting lineup. This season, Hauser has been a valuable contributor off the bench for the Celtics, averaging 9.5 points while shooting 44.4 percent from beyond the arc.
Rarely used players such as Dalano Banton, Svi Mykhailiuk, and Lamar Stevens could also see action.
