The Texas Longhorns have received another commitment from a promising young talent for the 2025 class with less than 24 hours until the start of the early signing period for the 2024 cycle.
This time, it’s four-star Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL) defensive lineman Brandon Brown, who pledged to the program on Tuesday via X.
Brown chose Texas over Miami, UCF, Florida, and Florida State.
Brown, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 286 pounds, is the Longhorns’ third commitment of the 2025 class, joining quarterback KJ Lacey and tight end Emaree Winston, who both committed on Monday night.
Brown is regarded as a potential interior defensive line prospect.
According to the On3 industry ranking, Brown is the 283rd best player in the country, the 32nd best defensive lineman in the country, and the 38th best player in Florida.
On3 and Rivals.com both rank him as a composite four-star recruit. According to 247Sports, he is a three-star prospect.
