Georgia has witnessed major roster movement since losing to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 2, with more likely to come in the coming weeks. The Bulldogs have had 18 players enter the transfer portal as of now, and they are awaiting final determinations from a number of players regarding their NFL draft aspirations.
The most recent roster movement in Georgia occurred on Thursday, when Maryland Head Coach Mike Locksley announced that former Georgia offensive lineman Aliou Bah will transfer to Maryland.
Bah, a former three-star prospect out of IMG Academy, was part of Georgia’s 2022 signing class. He played in three games this season after redshirting as a freshman. The Memphis, Tennessee native was one of four transfers announced by Locksley on Thursday along with fellow OL Alan Herron, QB M.J. Morris, and DB Jalen Huskey. Bah will enroll at Maryland with three years of eligibility remaining.

Locksley expressed excitement at the signing of the quartet of transfer players that he announced on Thursday.
“I’m really excited about these additions to our football program,” said Locksley. “We were able to address areas of need where these guys will provide some depth, but also have a chance to compete to play right away. I love that each player has multiple years of eligibility remaining so we’ll have a chance to really bring them into our football family, develop them and give them a chance to make a long-lasting impact as a Terp.”
