Michigan made it to the College Football Playoff for the third straight year, but the Wolverines hadn’t had much success in the Playoff — until now.

Jim Harbaugh led his team to a massive win in overtime against Alabama, 27-20. The Wolverines will now face either Washington or Texas on Monday night for a chance at a national championship.

J.J. McCarthy came through clutch in the final drive of regulation, then Blake Corum had a massive run in overtime to give Michigan the lead. But the real story was the Wovlerines’ defense. The Michigan defense wreaked havoc all night long and it came through once again on the last play in overtime when the defense stuffed Jalen Milroe at the point of attack.
