 Jack Sawyer needed a week to think about it after his massive Cotton Bowl performance, but Friday he let Ohio State football fans know his intentions for next season.

The defensive end announced on social media he will return to the Buckeyes for a fourth season.

His overall Pro Football Focus grade of 89.9 led all OSU defensive players and ranked seventh nationally among all edge defenders.

 He becomes the second headlining member of the defensive line to announce he is putting off the NFL Draft, joining defensive tackle Tyleik Williams.

That continued a trend that carried throughout the second half of the season. He finished with 48 tackles (10 for loss), a team-high 6.5 sacks, three hurries, two pass breakups and two fumbles forced.
