NEWSNOW: Sabres reveal two reason why they postpone game against Blackhawks

BUFFALO, NY [WKBW]— The Buffalo Sabres have announced that their game against the Chicago Blackhawks, originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 17th at 7:30 p.m., has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 18th at 7:00 p.m.

The decision was made after Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown recommended that the game be moved due to a severe winter storm affecting Western New York.

Original game tickets can be used for Thursday’s puck drop. If you have any further ticketing questions, please contact an account service representative at account.services@sabres.com.

Thursday’s game is the fifth in a six-game homestand for the Sabres, which ends on Saturday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
