NEW DELHI: The Philadelphia Eagles are undergoing significant changes once again, and offensive coordinator Brian Johnson is the latest casualty, as reported by multiple sources. While the Eagles have not officially confirmed the move, head coach Nick Sirianni and general manager Howie Roseman are scheduled for a press conference on Wednesday, likely to address the recent developments.

The decision to part ways with Johnson was anticipated following a recent meeting between owner Jeffrey Lurie and Coach Sirianni, which led to the dismissal of defensive coordinator Sean Desai last week.

Desai had been relieved of play-calling duties a month earlier, and his replacement, Matt Patricia, is also no longer with the Eagles as the team seeks a winning formula to reclaim Super Bowl glory.
Brian Johnson, 36, had assumed the role of offensive coordinator in his first year, succeeding Shane Steichen. Johnson, previously the quarterbacks coach, received praise for contributing to Jalen Hurts’ development leading up to Super Bowl LVII. However, the Eagles faced offensive challenges after a strong 10-1 start to the 2023 regular season, and quarterback Hurts experienced a regression in performance.
