The Alabama football coaches were all over the southeast this week as the National Signing Day approached.
The Alabama Crimson Tide football programme scored arguably its biggest triumph of the offseason this week, when 5-star wide receiver Ryan Williams confirmed his re-commitment to the University of Alabama.
Even after reclassifying into the 2024 class, Williams is still rated the finest player in the state. Following Nick Saban’s retirement, Williams reopened his recruitment, giving opposing fanbases hope of landing the explosive athlete.
New Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has certainly been a busy guy, with new photographs of him appearing on social media in various locations as he gets to know his new recruiting base.
DeBoer’s hard work has paid off, as Williams has been re-signed to Alabama’s 2024 recruiting class, and he has also recruited 4-star edge rusher Noah Carter.
Alabama On The Road
The Crimson Tide coaching staff has been touring the southeast in an effort to gain a foothold in the upcoming recruiting class. Fortunately, Saban and the previous staff secured the majority of the Class of 2024 before retiring, giving the new staff plenty of time to get to know the incoming class.
The staff went to see Deuce Knight in Lucedale, Miss. Knight is a 4-star 2025 quarterback committed to Notre Dame.
Julian Lewis, a 5-star Class of 2025 quarterback from Carrollton, Georgia, was re-offered by the Crimson Tide coaching staff. Lewis is presently committed to Southern California and is regarded as the second-best quarterback in his class.
Coach DeBoer was in Mobile to observe Micah DeBose, a four-star offensive tackle. DeBose was committed to Georgia but decommitted in December, and he is one of the state’s top talents in the 2025 class.
The new Alabama staff was in Birmingham to meet with Q.B. Reese, a Class of 2024 linebacker commit. Reese is rated as a 3-star linebacker out of Ramsay High School.
