Good news for las vegas raiders : he is back…

According to a recent source, the Las Vegas Raiders are likely to decide on one of their most crucial coaching positions, offensive coordinator, in the coming days.

Going into the month, the Raiders had some critical decisions to make about two crucial jobs in the organization. After sacking their previous general manager and head coach midway through the season, the organization had to decide if their temporary replacements, Antonio Pierce and Champ Kelly, would become full-time employees.

While Pierce’s 5-4 record and ability to command the locker room helped remove the interim tag off his title, the organization unexpectedly hired former Los Angeles Chargers general manager Tom Telesco to fill the same position in Las Vegas. The team must now fill Pierce’s staff, including the crucial position of offensive coordinator.

Over the previous week, the organization has spoken with numerous attractive prospects, and it appears that a decision is imminent. On Sunday, NFL Media league source Ian Rapoport said that “Las Vegas is set to make an early decision this week” on the job.

According to a rumor, San Francisco 49ers passing game expert Klint Kubiak could be the final applicant they interview for the job.

Why the Las Vegas Raiders must make the appropriate offensive coordinator hire.

Pierce demonstrated during the season that his pairing with defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was a fruitful one, as the team’s defense improved significantly throughout the season. However, selecting the correct offensive coordinator is critical to his long-term success.

The team will have an exceptional receiver in Davante Adams and may re-sign two-time Pro Bowler Josh Jacobs. Giving them two sturdy parts to work with. The next coordinator will also have to choose between developing 2023 rookie Aidan O’Connell or selecting a quarterback early in April’s NFL Draft.

The unit showed potential under Pierce in the final nine games, including a 63-point performance against the Chargers. The proper coordinator might mean the difference between the Las Vegas Raiders competing for a playoff position in 2024 and being a real contender to win the AFC West.

USC Trojans assistant coach Kliff Kingsbury and former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy are allegedly in the running for the job.
