latest news: Flyers have solely deemed to repress him for what he done.

The Philadelphia Flyers decided on goalie Carter Hart in a significant way. This happened after he was accused of sexual assault in relation to a purported incident that happened at a Hockey Canada event in 2018. According to CapFriendly, Hart has been placed on the non-roster list, a sign that his allegations are serious.

Hart is anticipated to turn himself in to the police in London, Ontario.

Cal Foote, Michael McLeod, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube, Hart, and Cal Foote all decided to take an indefinite leave of absence from their teams last week. Notably, HC Ambrì-Piotta, Switzerland, granted Formenton permission to take an indefinite leave of absence.

The 2018 U-20 Team Canada, which was recently criticized following multiple allegations of sexual assault, included all five of the players.

In 2022, the London police opened an inquiry after it came to light that Hockey Canada had reached a settlement with a lady over a lawsuit. Following a Hockey Canada Foundation fundraiser event, she alleged that eight members of the gold medal winning team had sexually attacked her.

The Globe and Mail reported that the five players were requested to surrender to the London, Ontario police to face charges.

According to court documents, the woman, aged 20, alleged meeting an individual identified as “John Doe #1.” She said he took her from a bar to a hotel room, where seven others were invited to engage in undisclosed sexual acts. She claimed intimidation and restriction from leaving the room.

Carter Hart’s claims were verified in an earlier statement released by the Philadelphia Flyers. The text of the statement says,

“When the results of the investigations are released to the public, we will react to this extremely serious problem accordingly. The NHL has made it very apparent that teams are to direct all inquiries pertaining to investigations to them. Members of the organization, including players for the Flyers, will refrain from making further comments in the interim.”
