Over the weekend, Robert Thomas, who is from Toronto, had a ball playing in his first NHL All-Star game.
At the NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft on Thursday night, Thomas was chosen to play for Team McDavid. He then suited up with some of the league’s best players, including Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl of Edmonton, David Pastrnak of Boston, Sergei Bobrovsky of Florida, Connor Hellebuyck of Winnipeg, and more.
In the last minute of the first game of the 3-on-3 NHL All-Star Game event, Thomas and Team McDavid fell behind 3-1, but they overcame Team MacKinnon in a shootout to go to the championship match.
