The woman impacted by the Hockey Canada incident involving Carter Hart and other NHL stars has received an apology from London Police.
On Monday, the Ontario-based London Police Department hosted a news conference to respond to inquiries and provide information regarding their ongoing investigation. Thai Truong, the chief of police in London, used the occasion to express his regret to the E.M. woman who has been at the core of the controversy.
“I want to extend on behalf of the London Police service my sincerest apology to the victim, to her family for the amount of time that it has taken to reach this point,” Truong stated.
