Good News: Lowa Confirm The Signing Of Another Experienced Tight End

On Sunday night, Iowa Football’s 2025 recruiting class got a significant lift. Thomas Meyer, an in-state tight end rated four stars, declared his commitment to the Hawkeyes.

The Clear Lake native, a four-star athlete, is committing to Iowa to play tight end. He was offered as a defensive end by a few more programs.

Meyer (6-5, 210) choose the Hawkeyes over alleged scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Iowa State, Duke, Kansas, Miami, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas.

Four stars are assigned to Meyer by On3 Industry Rankings. He is ranked No. 15 nationally as a tight end, No. 262 overall in the USA for ’25 according to that composite source, and third overall as a junior in Iowa.
