The North Carolina Tar Heels had not lost since mid-December, but they have now dropped two of their last three games. UNC overcame a setback to lose to Georgia Tech away from home and defeated rival Duke.

But the party was short-lived as UNC lost to Clemson at home on Tuesday after suffering a bit of a hangover. A week after suffering a setback at the hands of a poor Georgia Tech squad, it was somewhat of a shocker.

According to the most recent Bracketology estimates, UNC is no longer ranked as the top seed after the two losses. However, it has also caused them to fall in the most recent NET rankings.According to the daily revised NET rankings, the Tar Heels have dropped to No. 10. This season, UNC is ranked No. 10 and has a 5-4 record in Quad 1 games and a 4-1 record in Quad 2 games. Their total record in Quad 3 and Quad 4 games is 9-0.

UNC did move up after the Duke victory, but not too much. They were indeed damaged by their losses to the Tigers and Yellow Jackets.
