A 9-Year Jets Contracts Worth $10.5M this Season revealed just now

The Winnipeg Jets are putting a significant bow on their offseason.

The Jets announced on Monday that they have secured multiyear contracts for both goalkeeper Connor Hellebuyck and centre Mark Scheifele, guaranteeing their futures north of the border with just one day to go before the NHL’s opening night.

Scheifele and Hellebuyck agreed to identical seven-year contracts of $8.5 million per. After this season, both players were scheduled to become unrestricted free agents.

In the past few years, Hellebuyck and Scheifele have both been essential to one of Winnipeg’s most prosperous eras in team history, which included the Jets’ 2018 run to the conference finals.
