Utility player Connor Tracey was signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to a three-year contract, allowing them to continue building their team for the 2024 campaign.

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks granted Tracey an immediate release, and he may play for the Bulldogs as early as this week.

The utility player has played in 66 NRL games for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Sharks since making his debut in 2019.Tracey made 10 appearances for the Sharks in the 2023 season, including one in the Elimination Final during Week 1 of the Finals series against the Sydney Roosters.

With three tries, six line break assists, and an average of 177 running metres per game, he concluded the season well.

In 2023, the 27-year-old also made ten appearances with the Newtown Jets, averaging 174 rushing meters per game, seven tries, four try assists, and ten line break assists.

“I’ve always been a fan of Connor’s game and I’m thrilled that he’s joined our team,” Bulldogs Football General Manager Phil Gould said to bulldogs.com.au.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming him to the squad.”
