Nathan Brown, a former Parramatta enforcer, has signed a one-year contract with Manly after impressing Anthony Siebold during his train-and-trial stint this summer.

“I’ve loved his attitude, he’s got a bit of a point to prove, so there’s been an intensity about the way he’s gone after it,” the coach said after Christian Tuipulotu’s release freed up a spot on the top 30 roster.

“His own words, not mine, he’s had two disappointing seasons and he wants to prove a couple of points that he still belongs at this level.”
