The Cleveland Browns still have faith in Deshaun Watson, but they should think about doing so if they can get out from under his contract in any way.
Watson has a $230 million fully guaranteed contract with three years left on it, so any deal would be difficult. It would also need to involve a team that would consider Watson an upgrade and is paying a premium for its own poor quarterback.
Former Miami Dolphins and New York Jets executive Mike Tannenbaum, an ESPN commentator, recently proposed trading quarterback Daniel Jones to the New York Giants in exchange for Watson.
