Devils coach just said this regarding

After a gritty 2-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils, the Los Angeles Kings emerged triumphant, led by a game-winning goal by Quinton Byfield late in the third period.

A power play opportunity presented Byfield with his heroics; in the thick of net-front traffic, Brandt Clarke unleashed a shot from the point that found its way to Byfield. 5:37 remained in regulation when Byfield first deflected the ball off Devils goaltender Nico Daws and then battled valiantly to bury the rebound, giving the Kings the vital lead.
Anze Kopitar, who opened the score in the second period with a short-handed goal, also contributed significantly for the Kings. Despite a recent scoring slump, Kopitar scored his 16th goal of the year and gave the Kings a much-needed boost when he took advantage of a rebound opportunity after Adrian Kempe’s original attempt was stopped by Daws.
