On Saturday night, the New Jersey Devils had a really bad night. The Boston Bruins defeated them. They had a 2-0 lead, which made it worse, but Vitek Vanecek blew the advantage. That was terrible enough. It was the latter part of a back-to-back, which has plagued the Devils the whole season. Although the outcome wasn’t particularly unexpected, it was an unpleasant way to close the year.
