If you watched the UNC men’s basketball team play from mid-December to late January, many games ended in convincing UNC victories.

North Carolina’s last five games have shown a decrease in defensive production. After not allowing an opponent to score more than 70 points during its lengthy winning streak, each of the Tar Heels’ opponents has scored 70 points in the last five games.
Syracuse’s most recent upset win came on Tuesday, when they shot nearly 63%. Judah Mintz and JJ Starling scored 20 points each, while no other UNC player did.
