ESPN reported that Arkansas guard Tramon Mark was stretchered off the court after a hard fall during a game against North Carolina on Friday.

Mark hit the court and remained down for “several minutes,” according to ESPN, in the final two minutes of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament’s third-place game on Paradise Island, Bahamas.

After the game, Razorbacks head coach Eric Musselman stated that the guard was evaluated for a back injury rather than a neck or head issue.

Mark scored a career-high 34 points, five rebounds, and one block in Arkansas’ loss. Musselman described his performance as “phenomenal.”

“I don’t have any real update on his health, but he played phenomenal basketball,” Musselman told ESPN. “His offensive efficiency tonight was really good.”

Prior to his injury, Mark had made 13 field goals on 17 shots, a personal best. His performance surpassed his previous career high of 26 points, set while playing for Houston against Auburn in the second round of the 2023 NCAA tournament.
