Despite the fact that the new league year has yet to begin, the Los Angeles Rams have been at the forefront of NFL transactions. Head coach Sean McVay has seen his staff interviewed, promoted, and investigated by seemingly every team with an open position, bringing in coaches from all aspects of the game.
That is a testament to the Rams’ success in 2023, when they exceeded expectations and advanced to the Wild Card Round. But it’s also a challenge for McVay to rebuild his team with a mix of internal promotions and lesser-known hires.
No group of coaches will have a greater impact than the ones who left for the Atlanta Falcons this offseason. Raheem Morris, Atlanta’s defensive coordinator, was named the team’s next head coach. He brought quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson and assistant head coach Jimmy Lake to serve as his coordinators. Los Angeles is experiencing a massive brain drain, and the players are well aware of it.
