As the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline draws near, trade rumors involving the league are inevitably becoming more prevalent. The Buffalo Sabres are a team to keep an eye on since they have the ability to add players if needed after this season and sell off some of their expiring contracts.
It’s interesting to note that San Jose Sharks standout Logan Couture is being connected to the Sabres in The Fourth Period’s most recent Trade Watch List. The Sharks captain is also connected to the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators, according to TFP. Additionally, according to TFP’s David Pagnotta, the Sharks “are willing to listen on their captain” and he is amenable to adding more teams to his existing three-team trade list.
