Jordan Kyrou, a winger for the St. Louis Blues, may not have been the reason the organization let go of Craig Berube, but the 25-year-old’s performance could improve as a result of the coach’s firing.

The St. Louis Blues’ decision to fire head coach Craig Berube, who won a Stanley Cup with the team in 2019, has raised questions about Kyrou’s potential involvement in the coaching change.Elliotte Friedman, one of the analysts, recently talked about if the move was intended to unleash the potential of players like Kyrou. In an NHL Network Q&A, Friedman was questioned about whether the coaching change was partly an effort to reinvigorate players like Jordan Kyrou, who has had both success and failures in his tenure with the Blues.

Kyrou, who was signed as a potential young player, signed a big eight-year contract with the team, demonstrating the organization’s faith in his future:The expert supported a coaching style that seeks greatness and acknowledged Berube’s history of hard-pressing Kyrou. But he questioned if the two could work together, speculating that perhaps Kyrou might perform better with a different coaching approach.
