According to reports, the Canterbury Bulldogs have chosen who will play alongside Matt Burton in the second half of this weekend’s preseason game.
According to News Corp, Drew Hutchison will probably start the game at halfback against the Cronulla Sharks on Friday night, replacing Toby Sexton.
Given that Hutchison will start over Sexton for the second straight week, this could provide important insight into Cameron Ciraldo’s intentions come NRL season.Sexton recently talked to Zero Tackle about his competition for the open halfback spot, which included Drew Hutchison and other players. Despite not starting the previous week, he was excellent in the role and saw a lot of game time.
Sexton responded, “Yeah, it is,” when asked whether securing a berth in the halves was the objective.
