Jokic went on, “I think some people like being famous,” Actually, I don’t. I truly hope that no one knows who I am when my career is over and that my child or children in the future will remember me mostly as a father and not as a basketball player.”
The 2017 Finals MVP, Jokic, expressed his thoughts about fame and his outlook on life after basketball by saying, “To not have a phone, that’s another big goal of mine.” Just be a regular person and enjoy the time. No one will care if you go out for a drink with a friend, get lunch, play with your kids, or go horseback riding.”
Jokic is grateful for his NBA career and his fans, no doubt, but he is not fond of all that fame brings. Jokic is excited to be able to resume his usual life after the season concludes.
