Damian Lillard has missed just five games in his debut season with the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s been reasonably healthy compared to his previous two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, when he missed 77 regular-season games. What’s the latest on the All-Star starter’s injury?

Lillard has performed admirably for the Bucks, averaging 25.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. The team has had a tough start under new coach Doc Rivers, but a veteran like Lillard, coupled with Giannis Antetokounmpo, is certainly capable of leading Milwaukee to another surge.

According to the most recent Bucks injury report, Lillard is ready to play after being labelled as questionable with a left ankle sprain. He’s been suffering with the injury for the past week, missing games on February 6 and 8. He returned on Friday and scored 26 points against the Charlotte Hornets.

Damian Lillard will play for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night, despite an ankle ailment. Lillard played 29 minutes on Friday and was extremely productive, shooting 9-for-18 from the field and 6-for-6 from the foul line.

He had minor injuries earlier in the season, including a calf injury in early November and a leg problem later that month.
