Painful Departure: Iowa key player is gone…

For the first time since announcing on Monday that his son, offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz, will not be staying on after the 2023 season, Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media on Tuesday.

That’s my primary duty,” he declared. “My practice and ideas have remained largely the same. We usually go through the season and then conduct a comprehensive program evaluation thereafter. The announcement made yesterday was undoubtedly a change from that procedure.
