Barrett Carter, a standout linebacker for Clemson, decided to return for his senior year of education due to a number of reasons. Among them was the chance to lead the Clemson team as captain in 2024.
At the end of each season, Clemson’s final team captains are selected by their fellow teammates and publicized. Becoming the team’s permanent captain is one of Carter’s top priorities for the upcoming season.
I consider myself to be a born leader. Additionally, I don’t believe a junior can hold the position of captain in our program. You have to be a senior, I believe. Barrett Carter remarked, “And I’ve always finished in everything I’ve done.” “I returned to complete. I returned to guide my teammates to the Promised Land and prove to them that I am deserving of the position of captain.
Carter looked up to a number of captains after he committed to the Tigers in the 2021 class.
They assisted him in adjusting to Clemson and developing into the player he is now. In an effort to assist the Tigers have a historic season, Carter is excited to step in for younger players in that role the next year.
Carter is returning for a further year at this point. For his last season with the Tigers, he has high expectations for both himself and the squad.
Carter stated, “I’m just ready to establish that trust with my teammates, guide them, and demonstrate to them what it takes to win a national championship.” That is merely an objective I have set for myself. Simply lead this group to the Promised Land as the captain.
