On December 3, 2023, Amare Adams, a four-star recruit and the top player in South Carolina, made a commitment to Dabo Swinney and the Tigers.
Adams, a defensive lineman from Florence, is ranked No. 11 in the Class of 2025. Among other schools, he chose Clemson over Alabama, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, and South Carolina.
