JUST IN: Tigers Coach Reveals Flashy Headline Of New Signing

CLEMSON – Despite a disappointing season for Clemson football, quarterback Cade Klubnik is optimistic about the Tigers in 2024.

The Tigers return a more experienced collection of playmakers at skill positions, as well as another year in offensive coordinator Garrett Riley’s system.

“Our goal is to go undefeated, and I fully believe that this is the team that can do it,” he stated. “I think we’ve got every single piece that we need to be able to do that.”

Here are three things Klubnik stated on Monday that jumped out during his media appearance.

Health and playmakers will help Clemson restore explosiveness.

Last year, the Tigers had few big plays, averaging 4.9 yards per play. That was tied for 97th in the FBS.

Last year, Clemson suffered injuries to wide receivers Troy Stellato, Beaux Collins, and Antonio Williams. Tyler Brown is recovering from off-season foot surgery, while Noble Johnson is injured in a car accident.

“It’s no one’s fault. “It’s just how the cards are dealt sometimes,” Klubnik explained. “Just having everybody is going to be really good for us.”

A quarterback must have chemistry with his teammates, and Klubnik has been developing that with the available wide receivers. Stellato

and Williams are practicing, and freshman wideout Bryant Wesco Jr. has received high praise from teammates. T.J.

Moore will enrol this summer, and both freshman can help Clemson.

With tight end Jake Briningstool and running back Phil Mafah, Klubnik is enjoying the relationships he is making with the talented group.

“It’s really, really fun,” he remarked. “You get up there, and you’ve got some dudes – some crazy dudes – which is exciting. It’s great for me, obviously, because I have matches everywhere.
