BREAKING NEWS: 49ers’has just made difficult decisions on unrestricted free agents

Although the NFL’s early negotiating session for undrafted free agents begins on Monday, the 49ers have had discussions with players whose contracts are about to expire.

The 49ers’ lone offensive starter who is eligible for free agency is veteran guard Jon Feliciano, and general manager John Lynch made it plain last week that he wants to re-sign him.

At the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Lynch stated of Feliciano, “It turned out he was a really good scheme fit.” However, we were always aware that this man was a glue guy. This is the kind of guy that unites people and groups. Crusty, hard-working O-lineman.

Re-signing some of their players will help the 49ers bolster their roster.

Starting Monday morning, players are free to negotiate with other teams. Officially, the free-agent signing window opens on Wednesday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m.
