ATLANTA (AP)— The Atlanta Braves have reached agreements with their last arbitration-eligible players, left-hander Max Fried and A.J. Minter.

On Thursday, the Braves announced that Fried and Minter had signed one-year contracts worth $15 million and $6.22 million, respectively.

Fried, 29, has a 62-26 recordMax Fried - Atlanta Braves Starting Pitcher - ESPN with a 3.03 ERA over seven seasons with Atlanta. In 2022, he went 14-7 with a 2.48 ERA, finishing second in the NL Cy Young voting and earning All-Star honours. Last season, the left-hander went 8-1 with a 2.55 ERA before missing nearly three months with a strained left forearm and then returning to the injured list with a recurring blister issue late in the season.

Minter, 29, has 10 saves and a 3.76 ERA in 70 games last season, his second consecutive season of at least 70 appearances. He has 35 career saves and a 3.35 ERA across seven seasons.

Fried and Minter can become free agents after the season.

With the signings, the Braves will avoid arbitration hearings this summer, barring moves for other eligible players.
