Four of the team’s top five prospects will be on display in the game against the Chicago White Sox, as reported by MLB Pipeline.
The starting pitcher for the game is the Cubs’ No. 2 prospect, Cade Horton, according to MLB Pipeline. He recorded a brilliant 2.65 ERA in a total of 21 starts during the previous season, striking out 117 batters in 88 innings pitched.
Horton is regarded by many as one of baseball’s best pitching prospects, and in 2024, there’s a chance he might get big league playing time.
