Marcus Harris, a wide receiver from Mater Dei High School, is one of the candidates shortlisted for Tennessee’s wide receiver spot in the 2025 cycle. A few months ago, he traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee, for the first time. He had the opportunity to spend time with quarterback George MacIntyre of Brentwood Academy, who shortly after made a commitment to Tennessee.

Harris is rated by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings as the No. 115 prospect in the 2025 class. Thirty offers from some of the best programs in the country are made to him. He will make his second visit to Tennessee on April 4 for an unofficial visit; he has since been set to visit the Vols officially from June 6 through June 9. Harris also has scheduled official visits with the Texas Longhorns and Oregon Ducks.

Joakim Dodson, a wide receiver from Baylor School, has previously selected by Tennessee in the 2025 class. They are looking for four wideouts in this class, and Harris is someone they are definitely considering to fill one of those places. He had a successful season for Mater Dei and has been rising in the rankings over the last few months.
