Confirmed: Wolverines are bringing him back

Quinten Johnson, a defensive back for Michigan, changed his mind and decided to return to Ann Arbor for the following season, just a few weeks after declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. Randy Wise Automotive, a nearby auto dealership, and Johnson signed a new non-deal agreement (NIL). The partnership announced the news Friday.

I have made the decision to forgo the NFL and return to the University of Michigan for an additional year, having given careful thought to the present state of an injury I sustained late in last year’s National Championship run. That being stated, it’s time to capture yet another national title!

Johnson, a 5-11, 200-pound player, didn’t play much during Michigan’s drive for the National Championship last year, but he was effective in the closing minutes. Johnson finished with 28 tackles, five deflections of passes, one interception, and a crucial forced fumble.

After carefully considering the current state of an injury I incurred late in last year’s National Championship run, I have decided to forgo the NFL and return to the University of Michigan for one extra year. With that said, it’s time to win another national championship!

Though he didn’t play much during Michigan’s run for the National Championship last year, Johnson, a 5-11, 200-pound player, was useful in the final moments. In the end, Johnson racked up 28 tackles, five pass deflections, one interception, and a vital forced fumble.
