Matt Rempe of New York was penalised four games for elbowing New Jersey’s Jonas Siegenthaler.NEWARK, New Jersey — On Tuesday, NHL Player Safety penalised New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe for four games for elbowing New Jersey Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler.
On Monday night at Madison Square Garden, the elbow occurred with 30 seconds remaining in the second period. Rempe received a severe penalty and game misconduct in his team’s 3-1 win over New Jersey.
