A new ESPN ranking of MLB’s greatest players places Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros as the eighth-best player in the game, just one position ahead of Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who is a hitting only player. The ranking of the league’s top players was revealed by the “Worldwide Leader in Sports” on Monday, and Alvarez’s inclusion will give Astros supporters hope.
