One of the NFL’s top linebackers is joining the Washington Commanders.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport claims that linebacker Bobby Wagner of the Seattle Seahawks, an All-Pro, is about to sign a contract with the Commanders.

Dan Quinn, the new head coach, collaborated with Wagner during his tenure as Seattle’s defensive coordinator in 2013–14.

According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. struck a deal with the Commanders, thus it was another pass rusher this time. Fowler Jr. got 10 sacks in his two seasons in Dallas under defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, the head coach of the Commanders. He had four sacks in the previous season. In Quinn’s final season as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, he also played for a brief period of time until Quinn was fired five games into the 2020 campaign.
