Since joining Justin Longmuir’s team at the end of November, the 20-year-old has trained hard throughout the preseason. Last weekend, he kicked four goals in a match simulation to help secure his spot.
During the SSP, Woodville-West Torrens small forward Max Beattie, Claremont key forward Sam van Rooyen, and former St Kilda wingman Daniel McKenzie were all trialed by the Dockers before deciding on the former Bomber.
This comes after Josh Eyre, Jack Bytel, and Lachie Sullivan were signed by Collingwood earlier on Thursday as SSP rookies.
