Its has happen again: He has just left and labels Portland Trail as the “Losing Team.”

The official announcement of Damian Lillard’s involvement in the deal that sent him to the Milwaukee Bucks under the leadership of Giannis Antetokounmpo was made on Wednesday, September 27. A wild ride that started when the now-former Portland Trail Blazer asked for a trade back in July came to an end with this transaction. Since entering the NBA in 2012, he has been a member of the western team.

Soon after the news spread online, Lillard stunned everyone by performing a brand-new song while wearing his Dame D.O.L.L.A. cap. In the roughly three-minute song “Farewell,” he talks on his and his family’s accomplishments, strained relationships, and other topics. As he begins his next chapter, the Oakland talent also addresses Portland supporters.

He delivered a powerful performance, saying, “I continue leaving trails, but it won’t be for the Blazers. To the fans, man, I love you, it’s unconditional. Reasons for me leaving the city’s nothing typical, so it’s imperative not to believe the narrative. Just know that what I left is better than what I inherited. I leave at peace because I know at the end that this is business.”

With these words, Lillard ended the deep cut: “I hope you remember everything you got to sit and watch, man. I hope we greet with hugs and kisses in the future, but you should know that they the ones who chose another mission.”
