Broncos captain Adam Reynolds’ knee injury from Round 1 in Las Vegas has worsened, according to scans.

Reynolds played through injury in Thursday night’s win against the Rabbitohs and is now questionable for the grand final rematch against the Panthers.

“The scans show Adam got a knock to a low-grade MCL strain that he sustained in Round 1,” stated Denver Broncos head of performance Dave Ballard.

“We’ll see how he pulls up over the next 24 hours before mapping out a rehab program for the coming days.

“Adam is tough and looks after his body but we still have a full season ahead of us so our priority is ensuring he is ready to go when he returns.”

Wayde Egan, the Warriors’ hooker, suffered an elbow injury in Round 1 and will miss their match against Melbourne.

After being named on Tuesday, Egan was replaced by Freddy Lussick in the Warriors’ lineup on Friday.

Kurt Capewell, who suffered a rib cartilage injury last week, will play against the Storm, which is good news for the Warriors.

The Bulldogs lost prop Poasa Faamausili in the first set due to a head clash with Cameron McInnes.
