After reaching an agreement on a new three-year deal, Phoenix Crossland, a local junior product, has signed with the nib Newcastle Knights again, at least till the end of the 2026 National Rugby League season.

After making his NRL debut for the Knights against the New Zealand Warriors in round 16, 2019, at the age of 18, Crossland, now 23 years old, has played in 60 games.

This season, Crossland made 26 appearances for the Knights, showcasing his versatility and enormous talent.

The Knights recognized his breakthrough season by awarding him the 2023 Gladiator of the Year title. After being a Knight Old Boys, he placed among the top 10 NRL tacklers.

Crossland’s signing is fantastic news, according to Peter Parr, Director of Football at nib Newcastle Knights.
