Before training camp began, there were a lot of unanswered questions about what lineups of forwards the new head coach Andrew Brunette would choose from a drastically altered Predators team. Roster construction was a major subject throughout the preseason with the addition of Ryan O’Reilly and Gus Nyquist and the departure of Ryan Johansen and Matt Duchene.

During camp, it became clear that certain pairings had chemistry. As they practiced together, O’Reilly, Filip Forberg, Nyquist, and Cody Glass showed genuine promise.
