One of Kentucky basketball’s big men is returning at last.
According to KSR’s Sources Say podcast, seven-foot-one, 226-pound rookie Aaron Bradshaw, a five-star recruit, is anticipated to return to practice today.
After missing the first five games of the season due to surgery, Bradshaw is now healthy and there’s a slim chance he could play against Miami the following week.
Of fact, Coach John Calipari might decide not to start Bradshaw in a game against one of Kentucky’s tougher opponents; therefore, it seems more possible that he will play in a game against UNC Wilmington on December 2 or against Penn on December 9.
Bradshaw’s return to the Kentucky starting lineup has made life much simpler for veteran Tre Mitchell, who has been the Wildcats’ starting center despite being a 6-foot-9 tweener who can play both the four and the five. In their frontcourt, the Wildcats would undoubtedly love to have some more height beyond Mitchell.
