John Calipari is a well-known coach in college basketball, having surpassed the likes of Mike Krzyzewski at Duke, Roy Williams at North Carolina, Jim Boeheim at Syracuse, Jay Wright at Villanova, and Bob Huggins at West Virginia.
For the previous 15 years, the Kentucky coach has led the winningest Division I programme, earning a national championship, four Final Four appearances, and numerous NBA first-round draft picks.
For all that Calipari has accomplished in his coaching career, notably as head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats, he has not been immune to criticism, especially in what may be the most stressful and mentally draining role in all of collegiate athletics, let alone basketball.
