Curtis Lazar, a New Jersey Devils forward, will not play against the New York Islanders on Sunday evening.
According to MSGN anchor Erika Wachter, the 29-year-old will miss time due to a lower-body injury suffered against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.
Lazar leads all players this season with 59 blocked shots. In 66 games, he has 21 points (6 goals, 15 assists). He recently set a new career best for points, exceeding his total from the 2015-16 campaign as a Senator.
New Jersey will field 11 forwards and seven defenders against the Islanders, with the following lines and pairs:
Timo Meier, Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt
Jack Hughes, Erik Haula, and Alexander Holtz
