Bulldogs fullback Blake Taaffe was charged with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact and might face a $1000 fine if he enters an early guilty plea.

Roosters forward Nat Butcher was charged with Careless High Tackle during his team’s loss to Penrith on Thursday night.

The tackle on Matt Eisenhuth in the 46th minute was classed as a Grade 1 offence, carrying a $1000 punishment with an early guilty plea.

If Butcher chooses to contest the case and is found guilty in court, the fine will climb to $1500.
